Utica Velo was started in 2006 when 2 lifelong cyclists and ex-bike couriers came together and decided to meet up regularly for rides. We had both lived and worked in cities, with large thriving bicycle cultures and communities, and wanted to bring that experience to our hometown. Over the years we have changed our name and our direction, but our main goal has always remained the same, to build a community of cyclists within this city.
